But, what a heart-breaking story...
As a survivor myself of the devastating effects of a loved one who committed suicide (my natural birth mother, who took her life when I was only 10 years old), I can only imagine the pain you must be feeling now, in the wake of this horrific loss.
My very best to you, Faery King. May you find the peace and serenity (and whatever degree of closure you need) to help you continue to go forward in life and in love, in spite of this recent devastating news.
We cannot always know what was really happening in the minds of those who chose to leave planet Earth in this sad and painful way. In the case of my mother, I learned a lot over the years from my step-mom (among many other people), once I was grown as an adult, which eventually gave me a clearer understanding of the difficult days that must have led up to her agonizing decision.
All we can do is hope and pray to learn whatever might most help us through the darkness and despair in our own lives, so we can better help others (and hopefully prevent another from hurting themselves in this same way)....
